We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Nigerian team.

Job Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of Crown Interactive’s Nigerian office, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting functions. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices within the Nigerian context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct internal audits and implement control measures to safeguard assets.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and analysis.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
