Job Overview
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for independently assessing Montaigne Place’s internal controls, risk management processes, and governance operations. You will play a vital role in identifying potential risks, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, and recommending improvements to strengthen our operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance areas.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify control weaknesses.
Develop and execute audit plans based on risk assessment.
Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CIA, ACA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
Proven experience as an Internal Auditor, preferably within the retail or luxury goods sector.
Strong understanding of audit principles, accounting standards, and internal control frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
