Job Overview

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for independently assessing Montaigne Place’s internal controls, risk management processes, and governance operations. You will play a vital role in identifying potential risks, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, and recommending improvements to strengthen our operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance areas.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify control weaknesses.
  • Develop and execute audit plans based on risk assessment.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIA, ACA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as an Internal Auditor, preferably within the retail or luxury goods sector.
  • Strong understanding of audit principles, accounting standards, and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
