Job Overview

The Hotel Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our hotel clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting procedures. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to enhance the profitability and operational excellence of the hotels we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel accounting or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
