Job Overview

The Field Recovery / Verification Officer will be responsible for conducting on-site verifications of loan applicants and their provided information, as well as executing strategies for the recovery of delinquent loan accounts. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and representing FairMoney professionally in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough on-site verification of customer details, including residence and employment, to mitigate potential fraud and risk.
• Initiating and managing communication with borrowers who are delinquent on their loan repayments.
• Negotiating repayment plans and facilitating settlements in accordance with company policies.
• Documenting all recovery and verification activities accurately and promptly in the designated system.
• Adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines in debt collection and verification processes.
• Providing feedback on borrower behavior and recovery challenges to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in field operations, debt collection, or customer verification roles.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic digital tools.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within assigned areas.
