Job Overview

The Production Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of pharmaceutical production, ensuring adherence to stringent quality control standards, regulatory compliance, and efficient operational processes. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct daily pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues or deviations.
  • Train and mentor production staff on best practices and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical production or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory affairs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
