Job Overview
The Finance Staff (Accountant) will be responsible for supporting the accounting functions of EMGE Resources Nigeria. This role demands a meticulous approach to financial record-keeping, reporting, and analysis, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization as we expand our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet analyses.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is an advantage.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the logistics or supply chain sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
