Job Overview

The Accountant will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of Roki Foods Ltd, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely financial reporting, and adherence to all relevant regulations. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices within the Nigerian business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the FMCG or e-commerce sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
