Job Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records and operations of Kayima Bistro, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial management. This role is crucial in supporting the strategic growth and day-to-day financial health of our bustling takeout establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses as required.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and filings.
- Process invoices and manage vendor payments.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the food service industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abuja.
