Job Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to the Nigerian business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for management review.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements efficiently.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant in Nigeria.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
