Job Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of Discovering Talents Academy, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is an added advantage.
- Proven experience as an Accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
