As a subsidiary of a UAE-based parent company established in 2003, DAG Nigeria Limited has a distinguished history as an OE partner with Bajaj Auto Ltd., demonstrating consistent growth and commitment to quality since our first product sale in 2005.

Job Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing DAG Industries Nigeria Limited’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing crucial financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
