Job Overview

The Intern-RH Abuja will support the Human Resources department in various administrative and operational functions. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR practices within a global development finance context, contributing to the efficient functioning of the IsDB’s Abuja Country Gateway Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources department.
  • Support in managing employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Aid in the recruitment process, including posting vacancies and scheduling interviews.
  • Contribute to the organization and execution of HR-related events and training sessions.
  • Provide assistance with HR policy implementation and compliance.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and trends relevant to the IsDB’s mandate.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
