We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Manager to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. This role is crucial for managing HCP’s financial operations and ensuring its fiscal health.

Job Overview

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of HCP’s treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity, foreign exchange, and investment activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial markets and best practices in treasury management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all treasury activities, ensuring optimal cash flow and liquidity.
  • Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures in line with company objectives.
  • Manage banking relationships and optimize banking services.
  • Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure and hedging strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Prepare regular treasury reports for senior management.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in treasury operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CTP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in treasury management, preferably within a professional services firm.
  • Proven expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of Nigerian financial markets and regulatory landscape.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
