Job Overview
The Manager, Security Incident Response will direct all aspects of our incident response program, from detection and containment to recovery and lessons learned. This role requires someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to communicate complex security matters to executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of security incident response analysts and engineers
- Develop, implement, and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks
- Oversee investigations into security incidents and coordinate response efforts
- Manage escalation processes and communicate incident status to leadership and customers
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement remediation recommendations
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and communications teams during security events
- Monitor industry threats and continuously improve our detection capabilities
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulatory frameworks
Requirements
- 8+ years of security experience with at least 4 years in incident response leadership
- Advanced knowledge of threat detection, containment, and forensic analysis
- Proven ability to manage and develop technical teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- CISSP, CCSK, or relevant security certification preferred
- Experience with SIEM tools and security incident management platforms
