01Introduction
Welcome to MorrJobs, a job, opportunity and talent-hiring platform operated by MorrJobs
Limited (“MorrJobs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By creating an account, browsing listings, or otherwise accessing or using MorrJobs (the
“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms, Conditions, and Policies
(“Terms”).
MorrJobs connects Talents and Employers around job opportunities, non-employment
opportunities such as scholarships and grants, and hands-on artisan work arranged and paid
for through the Platform. These Terms cover every part of that: the job board, CV and
interview tools, messaging, reviews, subscriptions, and the artisan marketplace described
in Section 9.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not create an account or otherwise use the
Platform.

03Eligibility & Accounts
To use MorrJobs, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and verifiable information when registering and while using the Platform.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and be responsible for activity on your account.
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
Every account is registered as either a Talent or an Employer account; the two carry
different capabilities and cannot be mixed on a single account.
Some accounts were carried over from MorrJobs’ previous platform. Where an
account predates registration on the current Platform, signing in with the password already
in use on the previous site is treated as acceptance of these Terms in the same way a new
registration is.
MorrJobs reserves the right to verify identity, request additional information, and suspend
or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
04User Responsibilities
All Users must:
- Provide truthful, current, and complete information on their profile, listings, and applications.
- Use the Platform ethically and professionally, including in messages, reviews, and the interview prep forum.
- Refrain from posting fraudulent, illegal, or misleading content.
- Respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of others.
Employers additionally agree not to:
- Post fake, exploitative, or non-existent job offers or opportunities.
- Discriminate on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or other unlawful grounds.
- Demand money or favours from applicants under any circumstances.
Talents who enable Artisan mode additionally agree to:
- Accurately describe their trade, quote fairly, and itemise materials separately from their service fee.
- Carry out accepted work with reasonable skill and care, and keep the Client informed of progress.
- Provide accurate payout bank details and keep them up to date.
Clients hiring an Artisan additionally agree to:
- Pay for artisan work only through the Platform’s payment flow, not by side-stepping it to avoid fees.
- Give an accurate description of the work needed and respond to quotes and status updates in good faith.
- Confirm completion promptly, or raise a dispute through the Platform if something is wrong, rather than reversing a card payment directly with their bank.
05Opportunities & Listings
Employers, and where enabled Talents in Artisan mode, may post Opportunities. MorrJobs also
aggregates Opportunities from external sources through an automated content-ingestion
process; aggregated listings are classified using the same rules as those posted directly
on the Platform.
Categories that are commonly used for advance-fee scams, including scholarships,
grants, competitions, and fully-funded trips, are held for MorrJobs review before
publication when posted by an Employer. This review is a fraud-reduction measure, not a
guarantee that every published Opportunity is genuine or that its terms are as described.
MorrJobs does not guarantee that any Opportunity will result in employment, funding, or any
other outcome. Users are responsible for exercising their own judgement, including verifying
an Opportunity independently before paying any money, sharing sensitive documents, or
travelling in connection with it. A genuine Opportunity on MorrJobs will never ask an
applicant to pay a fee to be considered.
06Applications & Messaging
Depending on how an Employer configures a listing, applying may redirect a Talent to an
external site, reveal an email address to write to, or open an application form hosted on
MorrJobs (“internal application”). The specific destination, email address, or
form is only shown to a verified, signed-in Talent, and never to a logged-out visitor or an
Employer account.
MorrJobs facilitates the introduction between Talent and Employer but is not a party to, and
does not guarantee the outcome of, any resulting employment or engagement.
The messaging system is provided for communication between Users about opportunities,
applications, and artisan work. Messages must not be used to harass, defraud, or solicit
payment outside the Platform’s payment flows. MorrJobs may review reported messages for
policy violations.
08Reviews, Forum & User Content
Employers and Talents may leave recommendations on each other’s profiles, and Users may
participate in the interview prep forum. This content must be honest, based on genuine
experience, and must not be defamatory, fabricated, or posted to manipulate another User’s
standing on the Platform.
MorrJobs may moderate, hide, or remove reported content at its discretion and does not
verify or endorse the accuracy of user-submitted reviews or forum posts.
09Artisan Marketplace, Payments & Escrow
This section governs hiring an Artisan through MorrJobs and applies to both the Client and
the Artisan on any such job.
How a job is agreed
A Client sends a hire request describing the work needed. The Artisan and Client then
negotiate through quotes, each of which separately itemises materials the Artisan will
purchase and the Artisan’s service fee. Either side may counter a quote; the job proceeds
once one side accepts the other’s quote. Accepting a quote is a binding agreement between
the Client and the Artisan to proceed on those terms.
Payment, holding, and release
Once a quote is accepted, the Client pays the full amount (materials plus service fee)
through the Platform’s payment processor. MorrJobs holds that payment on the Client’s
behalf rather than releasing it to the Artisan immediately. This holding arrangement is an
operational safeguard provided by MorrJobs as part of the Platform; it is not a regulated
escrow or trust account, and MorrJobs is not a licensed financial institution.
Payment is released to the Artisan when any of the following happens:
- The Client confirms the job is complete; or
- The Artisan marks the job complete and the Client neither confirms nor disputes it within 7 days, in which case it releases automatically; or
- MorrJobs resolves a dispute in the Artisan’s favour under the process below.
Platform fee
MorrJobs deducts a platform fee from the Artisan’s service fee only, currently set at a
percentage shown to both parties before a quote is accepted and adjustable by MorrJobs from
time to time. Materials costs are never subject to this fee and are passed through to the
Artisan in full. This fee is always at least NGN 2,000 per job, even where the percentage
would otherwise work out to less. If an Artisan states no service fee (for example, because
they price the job entirely through the itemised materials list, such as a per-plate
caterer), the NGN 2,000 minimum is still deducted from the total the Client pays.
MorrJobs’ role, and staying on the Platform
MorrJobs’ role in every artisan job is to supervise the process, act as a witness to
what was agreed, and enforce these terms where necessary — including holding payment
until a job is confirmed complete. By sending or accepting a hire request, the Client and the
Artisan each agree that once they have connected through MorrJobs, all transactions for that
working relationship (this job and any further jobs between the same Client and Artisan) will
continue to be arranged and paid for through MorrJobs, not privately or through another
channel.
Where an Artisan or Client recommends or introduces the other to a further person (for
example, an Artisan recommended to a friend of a Client, or a Client referred by an existing
Artisan), that recommended person is also required to use MorrJobs for the resulting job.
Arranging or paying for work outside the Platform after connecting through MorrJobs, or after
such a recommendation, is a breach of this agreement. MorrJobs may suspend or terminate the
accounts involved and pursue any remedy available to it, including legal action for breach of
contract, in respect of fees it was deprived of as a result.
Disputes, cancellations, and refunds
Either the Client or the Artisan may raise a dispute after payment and before release, which
pauses any pending release while MorrJobs reviews it. MorrJobs will review the information
available, including the quote history and messages, and decide, at its
reasonable discretion, whether to release the payment to the Artisan or refund the Client.
MorrJobs’ decision on a dispute is final. A job may be cancelled by either party before
payment is made, or by the Client before the Artisan has started, without charge.
Payouts
An Artisan must provide accurate bank account details before accepting a paid job. MorrJobs
pays released funds to that account and is not responsible for funds sent to an account an
Artisan provided incorrectly or no longer controls.
No guarantee of work quality
MorrJobs is a marketplace connecting Clients and Artisans; it does not perform, supervise,
or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any artisan work. Clients are responsible
for satisfying themselves that an Artisan is suitable for the job before hiring, and
Artisans are responsible for the work they agree to perform.
10Subscriptions & Platform Fees
MorrJobs offers free and paid subscription tiers for both Talents and Employers, with
features that may change from time to time. Paid plans are billed through MorrJobs’
payment processor. A promotional code may be offered from time to time (for example, a
discount on a User’s first month on a paid plan); such codes are one-time use per
User, apply only to a first-ever subscription, and do not apply to renewals or later
subscriptions.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling keeps access to the paid plan
until the end of the period already paid for; it does not refund the current period.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period rather than immediately, so a User
keeps what they already paid for.
Fees for services such as premium listings, promotional placement, or subscriptions are
shown before payment is taken. Refunds, where given, follow this section and Section 9 for
artisan payments specifically.
11Service Use and Limitations
MorrJobs provides an online space for posting, finding, and applying for jobs and other
Opportunities, and for arranging and paying for artisan work. We do not guarantee
employment, funding, project success, hiring outcomes, or the quality of any artisan work.
While we take steps to review postings and profiles, MorrJobs is not liable for:
- The conduct of Users on or off the Platform.
- The accuracy or completeness of listings, profiles, reviews, or forum content.
- Agreements, employment, or artisan work carried out between Users, whether arranged through the Platform or otherwise.
Users are advised to verify job offers and other Opportunities and to exercise due diligence
before engaging with them.
12Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. MorrJobs processes personal data in accordance with the
Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
Data We Collect
- Registration and profile details (name, email, phone, professional information, artisan trade and payout details where applicable).
- CVs, job and opportunity listings, applications, and messages between Users.
- Payment and transaction records processed through our payment processor.
- Technical information such as IP address (used, among other things, to show a country flag), cookies, and usage statistics.
How We Use Data
- To create and manage accounts and match Talents with opportunities or Artisans with Clients.
- To process payments, subscriptions, and artisan payouts.
- To operate the AI Assistant, job alerts, and other Platform features.
- To improve our services and ensure Platform security.
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is shared only with service providers necessary
for Platform functionality, including our payment processor for payments, subscriptions, and
artisan payouts, and email delivery providers for notifications.
Users can request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting us at
[email protected].
13Intellectual Property
All content, design, trademarks, and technology used on MorrJobs are owned by MorrJobs
Limited. Users may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any material without written
consent.
You retain ownership of your personal content (e.g., CV, photo, portfolio, quotes you send
or receive), but grant MorrJobs a non-exclusive license to display and process such content
for the purpose of operating the Platform and connecting you to opportunities or Artisans.
14Termination and Suspension
MorrJobs reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that:
- Violate these Terms or applicable laws.
- Engage in fraudulent, harmful, or unethical activity.
- Misuse the Platform in a way that affects other Users’ experience.
Terminating an account does not cancel an artisan job already paid for or a subscription
period already paid for; those continue to follow Sections 9 and 10 respectively until
resolved. Users may delete their own account at any time.
15Limitation of Liability
MorrJobs is not responsible for:
- Job, opportunity, or artisan-work outcomes, or the conduct of any User in connection with them.
- Losses resulting from reliance on user-submitted information, including listings, profiles, quotes, reviews, or forum content.
- Downtime or interruptions due to maintenance or unforeseen events.
Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the greater of the platform fees MorrJobs
actually retained from the User in the six months before the claim, or the amount paid (if
any) for subscription services in that same period. This limit does not affect amounts held
on a Client’s behalf under Section 9 that have not yet been released.
16Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, Conditions, and Policies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction within
Plateau State, Nigeria.
18Updates to These Terms
MorrJobs may update these Terms and Policies from time to time as the Platform changes.
Continued use of the Platform after changes signifies acceptance of the revised Terms. Where
a specific action on the Platform asks you to confirm your agreement, that confirmation
applies to the version of these Terms in force at that time.
