We're growing fast and we need someone who genuinely loves film and TV, Nigerian and foreign, and wants to help shape how people discover and talk about what to watch next.
This is a hands on role covering content, data and social media. You'll work directly with the founder, own the brand's voice across platforms, and help build a real media company from the inside while building your own name along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, write and manage content across our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, Threads)
- Design graphics and short form videos using Canva and CapCut, from trend driven memes to polished promo content
- Spot and create trends. We want someone who starts conversations, not just reacts to them
- Drive engagement in our community, sparking discussions and reactions around movies, shows and entertainment news
- Manage and keep our movie/TV data and content accurate
- Work closely with the founder and other teams to keep content aligned with where we're taking the platform
- Keep an eye on entertainment news across Nollywood, Ghollywood, Hollywood and beyond for real time content opportunities
- Take full responsibility for the content and community you manage
Requirements
- Genuine love for movies, Nigerian and foreign, and entertainment/pop culture in general
- Strong writing skills with a creative, funny, culturally aware voice
- Good with Canva and CapCut (or similar tools)
- Can spot trends early and turn them into content
- Comfortable making memes and fast, funny content
- Great work ethic and very, very high availability
- Can collaborate and work well across teams
- Willing to learn new things and not afraid to challenge the norm
- Takes ownership and responsibility for your work and results
- Certificates and degrees are not required for this role
