Job Overview

The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and oversight of structural elements for our diverse real estate projects. This role requires a strong understanding of building codes, materials, and engineering principles to ensure the safety, stability, and integrity of all Mshel Homes constructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural analysis and design for various building types, adhering to Nigerian building codes and standards.
  • Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and address any structural issues.
  • Review and approve structural shop drawings.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Proven experience in structural design, preferably within the real estate or construction sector.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS).
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes and standards in Nigeria.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
