This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery at our retail outlets, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of Ama-Zuma’s downstream initiatives.

Job Overview

The Filling Station Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers at our fuel stations, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of petroleum products. This role requires a diligent individual who can maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the service bay and forecourt areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fueling needs.
  • Operate fuel pumps safely and accurately, adhering to all company procedures.
  • Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the forecourt, service bays, and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide basic product information.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of a Junior Secondary Certificate (JSC) or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to handle cash and perform basic calculations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A diligent and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform light manual duties.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is an advantage.
