Job Overview

The Finance Officer will be instrumental in managing the financial operations of Transport Services Limited, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices within the Nigerian business context.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Process payroll and manage employee expense reimbursements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations.
