Job Overview

The Admin & Facility Manager – North will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Baobab’s administrative functions and facilities in the northern region of Senegal. This role is critical in supporting our mission by maintaining a conducive and secure working environment for our employees and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including office management and staff support.
  • Manage and maintain all Baobab facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and procurement of office supplies and equipment.
  • Supervise administrative staff and external service providers.
  • Implement and enforce administrative policies and procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations pertaining to facility management.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in administration and facility management, preferably within a multi-site organization.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to manage budgets and control expenses.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in French and a strong command of local Senegalese languages is essential.
