Job Overview

The Social Media Manager will be instrumental in developing and executing The Milk Booster’s social media strategy. This role requires a creative individual with a deep understanding of the Nigerian social media landscape, a passion for maternal health, and the ability to build engagement and drive brand awareness across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Create compelling and shareable content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored for the Nigerian audience.
• Manage and grow The Milk Booster’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and potentially TikTok.
• Engage with our community, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster a supportive online environment.
• Monitor social media trends and analytics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Identify and engage with relevant influencers and community leaders in Nigeria.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within the Nigerian market.
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
• Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, graphic design, and basic video editing.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and grow an online community.
• Proficiency in social media analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A passion for maternal health and breastfeeding support is highly desirable.
