Job Overview

The Project MD Facilitator – Doctor Trainer will play a crucial role in enhancing the medical expertise and clinical capabilities of our medical teams, primarily focusing on doctors operating in challenging humanitarian contexts. This role involves designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that are relevant to MSF’s operational needs and medical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training curricula for medical doctors based on MSF guidelines and identified needs.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and simulations for MSF medical staff.
  • Provide mentorship and ongoing clinical support to doctors in the field.
  • Assess training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of MSF medical protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure training adheres to pedagogical best practices and adult learning principles.
  • Requirements

  • Medical doctor (MD) qualification with active registration.
  • Significant clinical experience, preferably in resource-limited or humanitarian settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, facilitation, or adult education.
  • Strong understanding of public health principles and infectious diseases.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or other relevant languages is an asset.
