Job Overview

Penafort Energy Limited is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage and execute accounting functions specifically for our beverage subsidiary. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to financial management within the food and beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
