Job Overview

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and supporting the financial planning and analysis functions of Wankai Innovative Materials Limited in Nigeria. This role is integral to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and related tax filings.
  • Support internal and external audits.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, ICAN) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
