Job Overview

The NYSC Accounts Intern will work closely with the Finance Department, supporting the Financial Manager and the accounting team in various financial operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to fundamental accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry and record-keeping for financial transactions.
  • Support the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Help prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports under guidance.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain organized financial filing systems.

    • Requirements

  • Current NYSC deployment to Lagos, Nigeria.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
