About the Junior Level Accountant Role

The Junior Level Accountant, also referred to as Accounting & Finance Support, plays a critical role in supporting the company’s financial operations. The role involves managing invoices, procurement documentation, reconciliations, and assisting with compliance and reporting. This position provides exposure to diverse clients and a wide range of accounting challenges, offering valuable professional growth for early-career accountants.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Support accounts payable operations and supplier reconciliations
• Assist with bank reconciliations and preparation of monthly financial reports
• Maintain accurate procurement and financial documentation
• Support audits, budget tracking, and expense monitoring

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for the Junior Level Accountant position should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• Two to four years of relevant experience in accounting, procurement, or related roles
• Basic knowledge of accounting practices including accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Odoo
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills
