Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current financial records for factory operations
• Prepare regular management and operational finance reports
• Monitor production costs, analyze variances, and recommend cost improvement measures
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual factory financial statements
• Manage inventory records covering raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods
• Perform stock valuation and routine inventory reconciliation
• Support factory budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
• Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to improve financial efficiency
• Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors when required
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing decisions, production planning, and resource utilization

Requirements for the Factory Accountant Job in Shagamu

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Three to five years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and factory accounting practices
