Job Overview
As a Virtual Neurology Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be instrumental in delivering specialized neurological and memory care services remotely. You will conduct virtual consultations, manage patient care plans, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient well-being.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual neurological assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with New Jersey’s Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.
- Provide patient and family education on neurological conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey.
- Board certification in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, Family Practice, or a relevant subspecialty.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurology or a related field.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and virtual care platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills.
