Job Overview
The Senior HR Specialist, Employee Relations – APAC will be instrumental in developing and executing our employee relations strategy throughout the Asia-Pacific region. This role requires a deep understanding of regional labor laws, cultural nuances, and best practices in employee engagement and conflict resolution. You will be a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies for the APAC region.
- Provide expert guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations across various APAC countries.
- Advise on performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through proactive initiatives.
- Collaborate with legal and HR teams to mitigate risks and ensure best practices.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
- Support the development and delivery of employee relations training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in employee relations, with a strong focus on the APAC region.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and practices in key APAC markets (e.g., Singapore, Australia, India, Philippines, etc.).
- Proven experience in conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote, global environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
