Job Overview
As an Account Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and developing new business opportunities within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You'll work remotely, engaging with enterprise and mid-market prospects to understand their operational challenges and demonstrate how Samsara's Connected Operations Cloud delivers measurable value. This role is critical in establishing Samsara's market presence across these key European markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and research
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned with quarterly targets
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and pain points
- Collaborate with Sales Executives to advance opportunities through the sales cycle
- Leverage CRM tools to track interactions and maintain accurate forecasting
- Meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation metrics
Requirements
- Fluency in German and English
- Proven experience in B2B sales development or account development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with enterprise software or IoT solutions preferred
