Job Overview

Alfred & Victoria Associates is seeking a qualified Urologist to join our team in Nigeria. This role will be instrumental in establishing and providing specialized urological care, aligning with our commitment to offering diverse and essential services to the emerging Nigerian market. The Urologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of urological conditions, including infections, stones, cancers, and congenital anomalies.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results, such as cystoscopies, ultrasounds, and urodynamics.
• Conduct surgical interventions, from minimally invasive procedures to complex reconstructive surgeries.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options and preventative care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Specialization in Urology with a Fellowship or equivalent qualification.
• Full registration and current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Demonstrated experience in clinical urology and surgical procedures.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
