Job Overview

The Sonographer will perform diagnostic medical sonographic examinations, utilizing ultrasound equipment to capture images of the body’s internal structures. This role is crucial in aiding physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and superficial structures.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Accurately document patient history and findings.
  • Analyze sonographic images and provide preliminary interpretations to referring physicians.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Ensure proper equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Sonographer.
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
