Job Overview

The Senior Business Development & BID Executive will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth for Derive Communications Systems & Engineering Limited. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in bid management, proposal development, and sales within the technology and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business leads and opportunities aligned with company offerings.
  • Manage the entire bid and tender process, from pre-qualification to submission.
  • Develop compelling and competitive proposals, tenders, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposal accuracy and viability.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, and bid management, preferably in the ELV or IT/Engineering sector.
  • Proven ability to develop winning proposals and tenders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian market and business landscape.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
