Job Overview

The Regional Finance Manager will be instrumental in driving financial performance, compliance, and strategic decision-making across a specified region of Dangote’s operations in Nigeria. This role requires a proactive leader with a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and their application within a large, complex organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial health and performance of the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement regional financial strategies aligned with group objectives.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying key trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to drive profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Manage financial risk and implement appropriate controls.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacity.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian financial landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
