Job Overview

Gbovo Finance is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Director to lead our sales efforts and drive significant revenue growth. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and execute our sales strategy, build and mentor a high-performing sales team, and expand our market reach. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative sales processes, fostering strong client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets. Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Gbovo Finance’s overall business objectives and growth targets.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a remote sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Set clear sales goals and KPIs for the team, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances within the financial services sector and related industries.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their financial needs and positioning Gbovo Finance as their preferred lending partner.
* Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify areas for strategic advantage and product development.
* Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and deal closure.
* Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer acquisition and satisfaction.
* Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and challenges.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a sales leadership or director role, preferably within the financial services or lending industry.
* Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sales strategies that have driven significant revenue growth and market share expansion.
* Demonstrated ability to build, train, and manage high-performing remote sales teams.
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales enablement tools.
* Deep understanding of lending products, financial markets, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.
