Job Overview
The Analyst, Simulator Maintainer & Systems Administrator will be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and enhancement of our maritime simulation equipment and associated IT systems. This multifaceted role requires a strong technical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on maritime simulators and related hardware.
- Install, configure, and manage operating systems, software applications, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for simulator users and IT systems.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventative measures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and security of all relevant systems.
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new simulation technologies and IT solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
