Job Overview

The Sales Development Representative will be instrumental in generating qualified sales opportunities for the Planful sales team. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, engaging them through strategic outreach and skillful qualification to identify their needs and introduce them to the transformative power of Planful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and social media to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their business challenges and financial planning needs.
  • Educate potential clients on the value proposition and benefits of the Planful FP&A platform.
  • Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly qualified opportunity generation targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information in our CRM system.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally in written and verbal forms.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Interest in technology sales and the FP&A industry is a plus.
