Job Overview

The Modern Workplace Identity Platform Engineer will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our clients’ identity and access management solutions within modern cloud-based and on-premises environments. This role requires a deep understanding of identity governance, security principles, and the integration of various identity platforms to ensure robust and secure access for users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage identity and access management solutions, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 identity features, and related technologies.
  • Implement and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations.
  • Develop and enforce identity governance strategies, including role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users and business operations.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate identity solutions seamlessly.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in identity management and security.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Identity Platform Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft identity solutions, particularly Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with identity federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices related to identity and access management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
