Job Overview

The Inventory Officer will be responsible for meticulously managing and tracking all incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency within Firewood Rice Nigeria’s supply chain. This role is crucial to maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and supporting the seamless operation of our kitchens and customer fulfillment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the designated system.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or excesses to management.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
  • Organize and manage warehouse stock for efficient retrieval.
  • Implement and adhere to inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Track expiry dates and manage stock rotation to minimize spoilage.

  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
