Job Overview

Oxygen is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Revenue Assurance Officer to join our growing remote team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the integrity of our revenue streams by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all financial transactions. You will play a pivotal part in identifying and resolving discrepancies, implementing robust controls, and contributing to the overall financial health and trustworthiness of Oxygen.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive reviews and reconciliations of financial data, including transaction logs, banking statements, and internal system records, to identify and investigate any discrepancies.
* Develop and implement robust revenue assurance policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and analyze revenue-generating activities to detect potential fraud, errors, or revenue leakage, and recommend corrective actions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, and Engineering, to understand revenue flows and address assurance-related issues proactively.
* Perform regular audits of billing, payment processing, and reconciliation processes to identify control weaknesses and propose enhancements.
* Prepare detailed reports on revenue assurance findings, including identified risks, resolutions, and recommendations for process improvements.
* Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in revenue assurance and financial controls relevant to the fintech and gig economy sectors.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue assurance and financial integrity.

Requirements

* Proven experience in revenue assurance, financial auditing, or a related financial control function, preferably within the fintech or banking industry.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, advanced Excel).
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
