Key Responsibilities

* Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans that address their unique requirements
* Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and utilize medical equipment as required, always adhering to established policies and protocols
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes
* Provide emotional support, education, and guidance to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and recovery
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and standards that promote excellence in patient care
* Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve patient care and outcomes
* Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and workshops to stay connected with the team and stay updated on hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

* Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a recognized nursing regulatory body
* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field, with a strong foundation in nursing theory, practice, and research
* Proven experience in acute care, community health, or a related setting, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
* Ability to work in a remote setting, with a reliable internet connection, a dedicated workspace, and a high level of self-motivation and discipline
