Job Overview

Sun King is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Regional Mentor for the South South region of Nigeria. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in developing and empowering our field sales agents, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and support to excel in their roles and achieve ambitious sales targets. You will act as a vital link between our company and the communities we serve, fostering strong relationships and driving the adoption of our life-changing solar products. Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for new and existing field sales agents, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and financing options.
* Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to a team of field sales agents, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
* Conduct regular field visits to observe agent performance, offer on-the-spot guidance, and ensure adherence to Sun King’s sales processes and ethical standards.
* Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the South South region, reporting insights to management.
* Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop and implement effective strategies to penetrate new markets and expand Sun King’s customer base.
* Act as a primary point of contact for field sales agents, addressing their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.
* Champion Sun King’s brand and mission within the region, building trust and fostering strong relationships with both agents and customers.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and sales methodologies based on field feedback and market dynamics.

Requirements

* Proven experience in sales, training, or field operations, preferably within the FMCG, renewable energy, or financial services sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively train, coach, and motivate a distributed sales force.
* Strong understanding of the Nigerian market, particularly the South South region, including cultural nuances and consumer behaviors.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
* A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for empowering others and driving positive social impact.
* Ability to travel extensively within the designated region.
