Job Overview

The Project Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of contractual obligations to ensure project profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately estimate and cost projects.
  • Manage tender processes and prepare bid documentation.
  • Monitor project expenditure and provide cost control reports.
  • Negotiate and settle final accounts.
  • Advise on contractual matters and procurement strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the infrastructure sector.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian construction practices and regulations.
