Job Overview

The Procurement Officer will be instrumental in managing and optimizing Neveah Limited’s procurement activities, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality solid minerals and agricultural products at competitive prices. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong understanding of procurement best practices and the Nigerian market landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source reliable suppliers for solid minerals and agricultural products.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of commodity prices and trends.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of sourced materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and cultivate new partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyses for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the commodities trading sector.
• In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian commodities market, including solid minerals and agricultural products.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
