Job Overview

The Packaging Instrument Artisan will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all instrumentation and control systems within the packaging department, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain a variety of packaging machinery and associated control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on packaging equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and longevity of assets.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for effective repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• Technical certification in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Artisan, specifically within a high-speed packaging environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing instrumentation, PLCs, and HMI systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
