## Job Overview
NASENI is embarking on an exciting phase of expansion and seeks to recruit highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill five critical positions within our organization. These roles are essential to enhancing our capabilities in communication, cutting-edge engineering, advanced artificial intelligence, and strategic business development. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in shaping NASENI’s strategic direction and executing its mandate to drive Nigeria’s technological self-reliance and global competitiveness. ## Key Responsibilities
* **Media / Communications Lead:** Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote NASENI’s initiatives, research, and achievements to diverse audiences, including the public, government stakeholders, and the international community. Manage media relations, craft compelling press releases, and oversee social media presence.
* **Hardware Embedded Engineer:** Design, develop, and test embedded hardware systems for various scientific and engineering applications. This includes schematic design, PCB layout, firmware development, and integration of hardware and software components.
* **ML / DevOps Engineer Lead:** Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models and associated infrastructure. Oversee the entire ML lifecycle, from data preparation and model training to deployment and monitoring, ensuring robust and scalable MLOps practices.
* **Head, AI Unit (Team Lead):** Provide strategic leadership and technical direction for the AI Unit. Champion the development and application of artificial intelligence technologies across NASENI’s mandate, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
* **Business / Domain Lead:** Drive the strategic alignment of NASENI’s technological initiatives with national economic and developmental priorities. Identify emerging opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and translate research and development outcomes into tangible societal and economic benefits.
## Requirements
* A Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Business Administration) from a reputable institution.
* Demonstrable experience of at least 7-10 years in a related leadership or senior technical role, with a proven track record of success.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A deep understanding of the technological landscape relevant to the specific position and a passion for driving innovation.
* For technical roles, proficiency in relevant programming languages, tools, and methodologies is essential.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
