Job Overview

The MEAL Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of MdM’s programs in France. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust monitoring, accountability, evaluation, and learning systems, contributing to evidence-based decision-making and programmatic improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive MEAL frameworks and tools tailored to MdM’s projects in France.
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to track project progress and impact.
  • Ensure accountability mechanisms are in place and functional to receive and respond to beneficiary feedback.
  • Facilitate learning processes through workshops and documentation of best practices and lessons learned.
  • Support the design and implementation of project evaluations.
  • Build the capacity of project teams and partners in MEAL methodologies.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development).
  • Proven experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) within the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Familiarity with humanitarian principles and programming.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
