## Job Overview

The Miller will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our milling facilities. ## Key Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor all milling equipment, including roller mills, purifiers, sifters, and other associated machinery, to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
* Adjust machinery settings and parameters based on grain quality, desired flour specifications, and production targets.
* Conduct regular quality checks on incoming grain and outgoing flour, utilizing laboratory equipment and sensory evaluation to identify and rectify any deviations.
* Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on milling equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
* Troubleshoot and diagnose operational issues, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and product loss.
* Maintain accurate production records, including quantities milled, quality control data, and equipment performance logs.
* Collaborate effectively with the production team, supervisors, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth workflow and achieve production objectives.

## Requirements

* Proven experience as a Miller or in a similar role within a flour milling or grain processing facility.
* Strong understanding of wheat milling principles, processes, and the functionality of various milling equipment.
* Familiarity with quality control procedures and testing methods for grain and flour.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and equipment schematics.
* Proficiency in basic maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
* A commitment to adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
