Job Overview

The Merchant Acquisition Associate will be instrumental in expanding Jiji.ng’s seller base across Lagos and Abuja. This role involves identifying potential merchants, presenting the value proposition of our platform, and onboarding them effectively. You will play a crucial part in driving the growth and success of our online marketplace by connecting businesses with a vast customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential new merchants and businesses for Jiji.ng.
  • Present Jiji.ng’s services and benefits to prospective merchants through calls, meetings, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their success on the platform.
  • Guide merchants through the onboarding process, ensuring accurate and compelling ad postings.
  • Achieve and exceed individual merchant acquisition targets.
  • Provide feedback to the team on market trends and merchant needs.
  • Requirements

  • Proven sales or business development experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
